 COATING AND SHARPENING
The coating center Turany offers the preparation of hard and wear resistant films by the PVD ( Physical Vapour Deposition ) method on the base of magnetron sputtering and cathodic arch evaporation. The TiN, TiNC and AlTiN films single and multi layered attain high hardness, low friction coefficient, high adhesion and abrasion wear resistance and high temperature resistance.

TiN - wear resistant film for cutting tools (drills, cutters, routers, cutting bits, tools for production of tooth wheels), shaping tools (shear tools, flexion tools, matrix, forms), surgical and dental instruments.
TiCN - wear resistant film for materials against adhesive erosion (stainless steel, cast steel and nonferrous materials) used for drills, milling tools, routers, cutting bits, tools for production of tooth wheels, punch knives and tools for injecting of plastic materials.
AlTiN - wear resistant film for highspeed cutting tools used for working on CNC machines. Mostly the tools made of hard metals - cutters, milling tools, drills, shaping knives, cutting bits.
Nástroje prednostne vyrobené zo spekaných karbidov - frézy, vrtáky, tvarové nože a rezné plátky.
KTRN I - wear resistant film for working of hard materials with interrupted cut. Hardly workable materials, alloy steel, nonferrous materials and stainless materials. Intended for cutters, drills, cutting bits and hobbing machines.
KTRN II - high-temperature resistant film up to 1000°C. Intended for working on CNC machines with the possibility of non-cooling working. For the tools made of hard metals - milling tools, drills, cutting bits. Drilling and milling of deep holes.
